Experience meditation like you never have before. Go deep into the veins of the earth, into a realm of mysticism in an experience of self exploration into the earth´s womb, travel inwards in this guided meditation, a journey into yourself and into the earth.
Where there is no light, no noise, no screens… we can see the inner light and hear our voice within.
In this experience, you will travel inwards in the depth of a majestic cenote where there is no light and no noise. Meditation has always been practiced in caves by ancient civilizations because they where considered sacred places, and also because by cutting the external stimulus, we can dig deeper into our own consciousness and deepen our practice.
Here, with the help of a teacher, you will learn the techniques to ease your mind and enter into a meditative state, listen the stories about the ancient mayas and explore and swim in an amazing natural location where you will deepen your connexion with nature and your own self.
Itinerary
9:30 Transportation to the private cenote in Akumal
10:00 Welcome ceremony and introduction to meditation techniques
10:30 Entrance to cenote, guided tour.
11:00 Start meditation in the dark area
11:40 Come out to an open sky area where we can swim and relax under the sun beams.
12:15 Comming back to the surface. Conscious walk in the jungle.
12:30 Get greeted back to the light with a hot cacao beverage, natural juices, fresh fruit and guacamole snacks.
13:00 Share experiences, transportation back to hotel

Exploring Magical Caves
The stunning closed cenote of Santa Cruz is an amazing shallow cave, with stalactites and stalagmites decorating the whole cieling. After a short walk you will find a beautiful, big sunlignt entrance that makes the bluest water you will ever swim in.
Spectacularly Ancient
Cenotes aren’t just ‘old’, they are ancient. Some of the spectacular cenotes are more than 60 million years old. Cenotes were the only source of water in the jungle for the Mayan civilization and are considered sacred by the Mayan people. The Mayans considered cenotes to be an entrance to their "underworld" (Xibalba) that represented the womb of the earth, the place where the spirits reside after death and also the place where life begins.
